AEGIS responds to non-injury car accident calls under the aegis of city police departments

With AEGIS Response Team, understaffed police departments can continue to deliver outstanding results with fewer uniformed officers

The Problem:

U.S. Cities are suffering from a police staffing shortage

  • There are fewer sworn police officers than there were 4 years ago

  • As a result, 911 response times are up and citizen satisfaction is down

  • These staffing shortages will not be resolved by pay increases or other benefits — it’s time for a new solution to the police officer shortage

The AEGIS Solution:

STEP 1: A Non-Injury Traffic Accident Occurs

When a city’s 911 center receives a non-injury traffic accident call, the police dispatcher routes calls to Aegis Response Team who communicates with the accident victims until the Aegis Agents arrive on scene

STEP 2: AEGIS Agents Arrive on Scene

AEGIS Agents—who are former and retired police officers and other first responders—will be dispatched to the scene where they will collect rich data about the accident and required personal and insurance information from victims

STEP 3: AEGIS Agents Build a Report To Share

AEGIS Agents will create a complete accident report that meets state requirements. This data is reviewed, enriched and swiftly sent to the police and other parties, resulting in faster resolution
